Summary

Lowell Hemming is stuck。
Grounded from his job as a photographer, this globe-trotting werewolf is pulling his hair out being back in his small hometown, with no end to the current situation in sight。 The first Hemming to leave Cambric Creek in several generations, he's feeling the pressure from his mother to move back home permanently, is chafed by his inescapable family name, and hasn't gotten laid in months。 When he picks up an intriguingly-worded flyer, he hopes that his boredom is about to come to an end。

For the first time in her life, Moriah has an open door of possibility before her。 Recently divorced, she owns her own home, her interior design business is thriving, and she's free to do what she's always wanted — travel the world。 There's only one thing holding her back — the desire to have a child。 After trying for years, to the erosion of her marriage, she's ready to put her dreams of travel aside and take drastic measures to get the one thing her heart desires above all else。

Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic offers a unique service — trigger a heat, and breed with a werewolf in a controlled setting, right before the full moon。 Their success rates are higher than multi-species IVF, cheaper than adoption, and more enjoyable than most trips to a clinic。

When Moriah picks a handsome, dark-haired werewolf out of a catalog, it seems as easy as buying a pair of shoes。 She doesn't count on liking him。 He's funny, he's sexy, and once she takes his knot, Moriah isn't sure if she'll ever be able to see their relationship as a transaction。

When Lowell gets the call that he's been chosen by a clinic patient, all he's looking forward to is scratching a physical itch and possibly unlocking a new medical kink。 Catching feelings is not part of the contract。 But when he meets the gorgeous little redhead who's picked him, walking away from her after he's fulfilled his end of the contract is harder than he thought。
Hard to think of leaving 。 。 。 and it's not the only thing she makes hard。

Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic human/monster romance novel, featuring high heat with a lot of heart, and a guaranteed HEA。 It is the third book in the Cambric Creek Monster Romance series and can be read as a standalone。 CWs will be available on the author's website。

It was just okay to me and maybe that’s just because I loved all the other monster books that came before it so much and I guess werewolves are kinda boring in comparison。 I skipped so many of the long paragraphs of the background on the other werewolf brothers because it was too convoluted and I didn’t really care to know more about them at this point。 I understand why it ended the way it did but I was disappointed it didn’t follow through on my original expectations especially given the title It was just okay to me and maybe that’s just because I loved all the other monster books that came before it so much and I guess werewolves are kinda boring in comparison。 I skipped so many of the long paragraphs of the background on the other werewolf brothers because it was too convoluted and I didn’t really care to know more about them at this point。 I understand why it ended the way it did but I was disappointed it didn’t follow through on my original expectations especially given the title of the book。 。。。more

It was cute + funny。 I never expected Lowell to be more gentle + clumsy + kinda bratty compared to his siblings。 It was ironic how even though he complained about that he was the third wheel, it was his twin that the Hemmings often missed at family get togethers。The sexy times between Moriah + Lowell was adorable + cute。 He's so different from Gray + it is refreshing。 I have to say though that his talk with his dad was absolutely needed + necessary + for some reason, that talk really stole the b It was cute + funny。 I never expected Lowell to be more gentle + clumsy + kinda bratty compared to his siblings。 It was ironic how even though he complained about that he was the third wheel, it was his twin that the Hemmings often missed at family get togethers。The sexy times between Moriah + Lowell was adorable + cute。 He's so different from Gray + it is refreshing。 I have to say though that his talk with his dad was absolutely needed + necessary + for some reason, that talk really stole the book for me。 。。。more

I wanna live in Cambric Creek because these characters need a stern talking to to get this relationship going lolI thoroughly enjoyed this。 I can’t quite say I loved this, not as much as the authors other books。 Not because the writing is bad or the plot had holes or I was bored。 There was none of that。 It just felt like a lot of world and character building and less on relationship building。 Absolutely nothing wrong with that, but the primary genre of this book is romance and we got very little I wanna live in Cambric Creek because these characters need a stern talking to to get this relationship going lolI thoroughly enjoyed this。 I can’t quite say I loved this, not as much as the authors other books。 Not because the writing is bad or the plot had holes or I was bored。 There was none of that。 It just felt like a lot of world and character building and less on relationship building。 Absolutely nothing wrong with that, but the primary genre of this book is romance and we got very little of it。 Even though there were numerous sex scenes, they weren’t even official or in a relationship or together much for 85(!)% of the book。 It felt like the longest slow-burn EVER (and like, they’re literally having sex at a breeding clinic monthly)。The character development was on point。 It felt real and raw。 Not a character left in the dark to be flat and one-dimensional, no siree。 As for Lowell and Moriah, I would have liked to see more of them growing together。 Working through some of that growth, feeding off the other。 Forming a partnership。 This felt like only half a book, like there’s a sequel needed to actually experience the romance and them being together😭 Maybe it has something to do with the passing of time that was happening; we’d read two weeks passes, a month passes, “we talked weekly” or “we texted,” but WE, the readers, didn’t see any of this。 AND I WANTED TO SEE IT。 We only knew time had passed, without reading about any of it 😭 Felt like I was missing out *hmph*I loved that we saw Grayson and Vanessa! This is how you give past characters cameos to satisfy readers without the current book focusing a lot on them (looking at you Mercy 👀)。 There was just enough short moments added to satiate my need for characters to have HEAs。 And the ending was…right…it fit。 I’m content。 The next book better have Lowell and Moriah moments though。 。。。more

To be 100% transparent, I’m quite disappointed with the book。 Having read the previous books in this series and LOVING them I was super excited for this book as it literally has my favourite kink so I had super high hopes this may be a 5 star read。 Don’t get me wrong this was not a bad book at all and I loved the book for the first 50% however after that it seemed we was told a lot of things rather than reading about them。 Like suddenly they would be in a different location and I was like what? I loved this story! Lowell and Moriah were such a great pair! I loved their banter and whit, their chemistry and their passion for one another。 The storyline was so perfect for this couple。 I was curious coming in what Lowell’s story might be like from the glimpses of information we have gotten about him。 And man was I extremely pleasantly surprised with his story。 Moriah and Lowell just fit so well together and completed the other in a way I’m sure they didn’t even know they fully needed。 I lov I loved this story! If you know me in real life and saw I read this, no you didn’t。 This wasn’t as good as MGMF to me and it made the issues with it stick out。 It needed a better copy edit and the sequence of events gets confusing with how things will I’ve forward, then be retread, or remembered after the fact。

He’s sweet。 He’s funny and interesting。 This is such a fucked up situation。”Moriah has a wonderful life: supportive friends, a good job, cozy house, friendly community。 The one thing missing is a baby。 Two years post-divorce, Moriah looks into a new fertility treatment administered by the Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic。 Patients of the clinic experience intercourse with a male werewolf each new moon, and due to their unique physiology, pregnancy occurs at a higher rate。 Despite her reservations, Moriah looks at the list of donors and sees him: Lowell。 Lowell is the middle child of the esteemed Hemming family, and his life is in limbo。 He normally works as a photographer, traveling all over the world, but the human pandemic has brought his industry to a screeching halt。 Now he’s back in his hometown, living in his brother’s house, and sitting idly while he waits for his next job。 One day he comes across a flier for the Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic, and figures this is a good opportunity to release some pent-up frustration。 When Moriah and Lowell meet, they connect instantly and the mutual attraction is off the charts。 Suddenly they start to realize they are developing feelings for one another, which clashes with Moriah’s pregnancy goal。 Is a relationship between the two of them completely doomed, or is it possible for them to find a way to be together?-I think C。M。 Nascosta is incapable of writing a bad book。 When she teased the plot earlier this summer I had this funny feeling that I was going to gobble it up in a day。 I was right, totally read this in 24 hours, had so many moments where I swooned and laughed。-This is the first romance book I’ve read where the topic of COVID is mentioned。 Granted, it’s not mentioned by name, but there are multiple references to a human pandemic。 The monster folk in the Cambric Creek universe aren’t affected by the pandemic, but since this is a species inclusive community there are humans that need to take precautions。 Nascosta perfectly captured the complicated feelings so many of us felt in the early months of the pandemic。 The loneliness, isolation, fear, crippling self-doubt concerning life choices。-The MMC, Lowell, is one of the funniest MMCs I’ve ever read。 He’s so damn charming with his self-deprecating humor; he’s so aware of his current predicament, and ludicrousness of it, that he can’t help but poke fun at himself。 He also displays a really keen sense of emotion, he is definitely a character that doesn’t shy away from his feelings。 As the reader we are left with many instances of Lowell pondering why he feels so isolated from his family, why his brothers treat him differently than they do each other, why Cambric Creek will always feel too small。 I really enjoyed reading about a MMC that is so attuned with his feelings。 Sometimes he displayed an immaturity about situations or characters, and the FMC even calls him a brat (in a very loving way)。 Lowell is definitely a brat, but he’s one of those lovable brats; he’s just attention and affection starved。-The FMC, Moriah, is extremely likable and relatable。 She spent her 20’s in a difficult marriage where no one did anything ‘wrong’ necessarily, they were just incompatible in too many ways。 She’s very skeptical of the Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic’s fertility practices, but she’s so desperate to have a baby that she’s willing to try anything。 I loved how she stumbled her way toward Lowell。 Their first meet-up could have been so awkward, but their chemistry made the entire conversation super cute。 And I loved how Moriah leaned on the whole “well, we’re going to have sex eventually for the purpose of me getting pregnant” aspect to be bold。 Once Moriah pushed herself out of her comfort zone a little bit, it was easier for Lowell to meet her halfway。-The chapters are alternating POVs, and Nascosta did something in this book that I absolutely loved (and didn’t realize how much I loved until I finished the book): some chapters had the major events happening from one character’s POV, and more details would be provided, but once we got to the over character’s POV we could to have a little summary of what happened but with their internal dialogue。 For example, when Lowell and Moriah meet in the cafe for the first time it’s through Moriah’s POV, and as a reader we get page after page of adorable banter。 Then the next chapter is Lowell’s POV, and we get to see just how smitten he is with Moriah。 Little things that Moriah questioned in her chapter are referenced in Lowell’s, like the fact that he’s still single despite being completely charming and attractive。-The spice between Moriah and Lowell is so hot, their chemistry easily extends to the bedroom。 Moriah accidentally finds out that Lowell has a praise kink, which I’ve never read before with a MMC。 It doesn’t take long for them to start being physical in ways that have nothing to do with Moriah conceiving, and even though I knew it was going to complicate things for them later one, I still loved every second of it。 -I think what I enjoyed the most in this book was reading about Moriah’s journey of figuring out what she wanted in life。 She begins the book thinking she wants one thing, but starts to question everything once she meets Lowell。 There are things we think we want in life when we’re younger, and then as we mature we start to realize our goals have changed。 Sometimes it’s hard to reconcile with these new feelings, but Nascosta did an excellent job portraying these emotions with the character of Moriah。 。。。more

Holy hot werewolves batman!!!! What to say???? I mean this book was brilliant, I loooved it。 Lowell was the perfect mix of hot and funny screw up for me, he honestly made me giggle on a few occasions, as well making me want to pull him in for hugs when he really didn't see his worth。Moriah was the misguided, 'this is the path I should be following' heroine that fell for the screw up and realised sometimes your path isn't the same as you thought it would be。In the midst of a pandemic *cough cough Holy hot werewolves batman!!!! It was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 and made it so I couldn't put this book down!! I love CM Nascosta's writing and this was no exception。 Can't wait for more and until then will happily go back into my collection to go over them again 😊😊😊😊 。。。more

Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic is the third book in the Cambric Creek series, and the second book to feature the Hemming werewolf family。 Lowell’s brother, Grayson, is the MMC in Run, Run Rabbit, the first book in the Cambric Creek After Darkverse series。 Lowell Hemming is a globetrotting and bed hopping werewolf photographer。 A global pandemic, which only affects humans, has grounded him。 He has no choice but to return to his hometown of Cambric Creek。 He is bored, depressed, lonely, horny and living with his brothers。 He finds a flier for a breeding clinic and decides to sign up。 He is selected by the recently divorced human woman, Moriah。 She has always wanted a baby and struggled to conceive with her ex-husband。 She definitely does not expect to develop feelings for her donor。 I really liked Lowell and Moriah。 In a way, they are both lonely lost souls。 They had amazing chemistry and the spice was so hot。 I love reading about knotting。 This author has a unique gift of finding an amazing balance of sweet and spicy。 This book was also a little emotional。 Unlike his brothers, Lowell doesn’t enjoy the fame/notoriety of being part of a locally famous werewolf family。 It’s hard for him to be back in his hometown。 Whereas Moriah is struggling to find her place after her divorce。 Although I loved reading about Moriah and Lowell individually, I do wish that they met a bit earlier in the story。I love the worldbuilding in this series! The author always comes up with the most creative concepts。 I didn’t think she’d be able to top a minotaur milking farm, but the idea of a fertility clinic with knotting had my gears turning。 I loved reading about the clinic。 It was also interesting to see the idea of a global pandemic in the plot。 However, nonhumans aren’t affected nor are they carriers in Cambric Creek。 I love this world so much! I can’t wait to see what the author will release next! Hopefully, we’ll get more books about the other Hemming brothers。 。。。more

3。5 ⭐Out of all the books I read by the author, this one was the easiest to follow and understand, at least for me。 It was definitely a fun read but I wasn't a big fan of the hero calling himself a baby and constantly telling the heroine that he wants/needs to be babied。 I dunno, that was kinda。。。 weird? Maybe it's just a me thing。But overall enjoyed it。 The romance was developed quickly but they were cute together。 3。5 ⭐Out of all the books I read by the author, this one was the easiest to follow and understand, at least for me。 It was definitely a fun read but I wasn't a big fan of the hero calling himself a baby and constantly telling the heroine that he wants/needs to be babied。 I dunno, that was kinda。。。 weird? It was kinda different because they don’t interact much with each other it’s more their side stories that bring them together the most。 I did like the premise of the story, I thought it was so heart wrenching to read about Moriahs infertility but also the trauma she gathered because of it。 But it was also bittersweet to see her grow and get through those emotions and be who she wanted to be。 This is the first book with dual POV which I absolutely loved! I think it definitely added more to the story。 This is an easy read and it is steamy but it’s interesting because it’s surface level steam, the acts are described but only a little then it almost has a fade to black vibe。 To be clear yes there is intercourse on the pages it’s hot and over very fast though。 The ending ended kind of abruptly for me and I didn’t enjoy it just being over。 I think the small “epilogue” after made up for it a little but still not as good of a HEA as her previous books。 I was way excited to read the teaser at the back for the next book!! So down for that one and can’t wait to see what she does next。 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5🌶🌶🌶/5 。。。more

the deeply entangled Hemming werewolf clan of Cambric Creek—it really is worth it to read Run, Run, Rabbit before this one, but it's not impossible to follow if you haven't; Grayson and Vanessa feature fairly heavily in this story, and their dynamic is confusing if you haven't read their tale。 It's i It's no secret that I love C。M。 Nascosta's work。 She's always gifting us with something Run, Run, Rabbit before this one, but it's not impossible to follow if you haven't; Grayson and Vanessa feature fairly heavily in this story, and their dynamic is confusing if you haven't read their tale。 It's impossible to tell the story of one Hemming wolf without tripping all over the others。 MBBC follows Lowell Hemming, one of the middle child twins of the clan, and the only one to have ever left home and successfully stayed away。MBBC is a lot of things, among them a pandemic story—which felt really well handled here。 When the CC counterpart of the COVID 19 global pandemic hits this world, 32 year old globe-trotting photojournalist Lowell finds himself forced out of his Tokyo apartment and back to the Unification (US in this world) to wait until borders open back up。 Where he proceeds to grow resentful and bored of almost immediately。 I can sympathize with Lowell, as someone who lives anywhere from a thousand miles to half a globe away from my family at any given time。 Any visit back, I'm longing to be there until I actually get there, and then I remember exactly why I'm happy to stay away forever—even though I miss out on so much and feel like a tourist every time I go back。 I hate who I am after arriving and I slip back into a younger iteration of myself each time—one who I really do not like and want to leave them there again。 Nascosta did an excellent job characterizing this situation, making it as believable and sympathetic as it's possible to be when bratty Lowell is involved。You can always expect smutty monster fucking Hallmark good times when reading a Nascosta novel, and if you're someone who reads a little deeper, there will be something else worth your time there too。 Yes, this is a story about a werewolf breeding clinic to help people experiencing infertility, and is full of ridiculous banter and sizzling smut。 But it's also a story about navigating issues that pop up as we pass our 20s and head into our 30s and beyond: sunk cost fallacy and learning to let go, and learning to see that our perceptions of those closest to us are often flawed and based on our own issues feature prominently in there (in Moriah and Lowell's characters, respectively。)Moriah wasn't originally from CC, having moved there a decade earlier with her then husband, a dour lizard man who she's realizing she never really paired well with。 After spending an exorbitant amount of money on fertility treatments that had nearly zero percent chance of working, Moriah's marriage finally dissolved 2 years ago, and her ex left her the house with his blessings and booked it out of town。 She's been in limbo ever since, no longer sure what to do with her life after a decade of contorting herself and whittling herself away to fit someone else。 When she tried to return to her late teen self, she discovered that life no longer fit and has been at a loss since。 The last thing she sunk so much into was trying to have a baby, and she can not seem to get the idea out of her mind。 Nor can she seem to let go of letting her ex influence how she continues to live her life—draining the joy and color out of it, even in his absence。Lowell is not a traditional romance Alpha Hero—another Nascosta feature that I consider a bonus—and he is, yes, totally a brat with maturity issues。 I noticed Lowell is a flipped script on romance tropes for heroines: he's immature, whiny, and bratty, he makes terrible impulsive decisions, is very insecure and overly invested in what he thinks other people think about him, self-absorbed to the point of being myopic, and he has a serious praise kink。 There's even more-than-a hint of Manic Pixie Dream Girl energy to the guy。And he's well-written enough that I can't hate him for it。 Because when a character is done well, those tropes do not feel like a generic Insert Character Type Here model that too many stories rely on。And since I saw it addressed in another review, I thought I'd give my 2 cents on this: (view spoiler)[Lowell has fond remembrances and pinings for his most recent sex partner—who he was FWBing with until right before the story starts。 If you can not handle the thought of a dude who does not hate every person he ever had sex with or remembers them in a paragraph of text here or there while he's going mad from his upcoming full moon rut and pent up like crazy from being tortured by a 5 year old with the worst timing。。。 maybe go read another story or just skip those parts。 Because mature people accept that this is a part of life, and it's frankly weird to expect otherwise。 Moriah also reminisces on her past sex life, even if hers isn't as fond as Lowell's is for his friend he left behind—nor as eventful and active。 (hide spoiler)]So these two have a lot to work through as their lives lead them both to the MBBC and each other。 And one thing I especially loved in this story:Gotta love the normalization of therapy to talk through your issues with an objective third party to help guide you。I loved these two idiots and how they fit together。 Enjoyable story。 Gorgeous cover。 Would happily visit them again。["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]> Much better then #2 (Sweet Berries)。 I’m loving our hero’s - Nacosta is really breaking out of the mold of alphaholes out there and she has some great characters。 We spent a bit too much time with the family imo and I would have liked to see a bit more relationship building but that is a small complaint。Great read 👍🏼

I read this in one sitting like two hours after release。I hate the breeding kink。 I absolutely LOVED this book! It is so cute, I giggled, I gasped, it is SO hot。

This was another fun addition to the Cambric Creek world。 If you're familiar with the other books, I'm sure you'll like this one as well。 What I enjoy most from this series is the casual monster world building。 It may not be as exciting as some of the more dramatic monster romances but it's sometimes nice to take a break from the overly dramatic tropes and read something that is somewhat relatable and mundane。 There was a frustrating plot line of non-communication but I could also understand the This was another fun addition to the Cambric Creek world。 If you're familiar with the other books, I'm sure you'll like this one as well。 What I enjoy most from this series is the casual monster world building。 It may not be as exciting as some of the more dramatic monster romances but it's sometimes nice to take a break from the overly dramatic tropes and read something that is somewhat relatable and mundane。 There was a frustrating plot line of non-communication but I could also understand the character's reluctance to put their heart out there。 The story wasn't overly dramatic and the conflict resolved at the very end and, quite suddenly, the book was done。 While it may not be as flashy as most other romances, it did seem somewhat realistic: two people discuss their feelings and wants and compromise to make it work and move on with their lives。Warning for grammar enthusiasts: there are a lot of typos and errors! While I've come to expect the unpolished nature of kindle unlimited books, I really wish the author would get some ARCs out to grammar enthusiasts for a final edit。 There are some extra spaces, missing spaces, extra words, doubled words, and auto-corrected words。 。。。more

I wish to marry Lowell。 That is all。

So, I’m beginning to think that I’m not the biggest fan of this authors writing style。 The pacing is weird, the mcs didn’t even meet until like 40% into the book, and the plot focal points were just not doing it for me。 But, I completely adored this couple。 Lowell and moriah were a seemingly perfect match。 Their energy and aspirations completely coincided and welcomed a great future for their relationship。 I just wish I had actually seen more of their relationship rather than so much meaningless So, I’m beginning to think that I’m not the biggest fan of this authors writing style。 The pacing is weird, the mcs didn’t even meet until like 40% into the book, and the plot focal points were just not doing it for me。 But, I completely adored this couple。 Lowell and moriah were a seemingly perfect match。 Their energy and aspirations completely coincided and welcomed a great future for their relationship。 I just wish I had actually seen more of their relationship rather than so much meaningless characters thoughts that go on for entire chapters and honestly offered nothing to the plot and which I mostly skimmed over。 I’m not sure if this author uses an editor, but I think she’d greatly benefit from one。 Her stories are there, and they honestly have the best roots and foundation but someone needs to come in and help with the framework to really help with the pacing and useless internal monologue。ALso, this book is categorized as “erotica” and while in some definitions that might be true, I don’t think it really is。 We get like 4 scenes? And while they boasted their stamina it (the stamina examples 😏) was never actually written in detail。 The scenes were pretty brief and the author just kinda explained what happened like a fade to black。 I honestly am so confused about this book。 。。。more

I enjoyed the main couple + their pairing so, so much… but I’m just not feeling the whole Hemming brothers thing。 (Keeping up with that running background info gets tedious and I kinda just don’t care。 🤷🏻‍♀️) I wish this had been a true standalone set in the same locale, because I feel like the two mains deserved it—they’re a five star couple—and the story could’ve flourished even more。

“So what you’re telling me is you’re a bit of a brat。” (Reminder: Lowell is baby)Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic is just what the doctor ordered! I loved all of the cameos in the book, it felt like coming home to Cambric Creek。 Lowell and Moriah might have climbed to the top of my list of favorite Cambric Creek couples!
